At Okusa, we open the doors of a beautiful historic house built in 1890, where gastronomy
and history blend seamlessly. Here, you don't just come to eat; you come to share moments
in a place full of identity, memories, and details that tell the story of Magallanes.

Our menu combines the best of international cuisine with premium local ingredients from the
region: high-quality meats, fresh seafood, pastas, and desserts prepared with dedication.
We also offer a four-course menu and traditional preparations that honor the classic
Magallanic table, including our signature Patagonian lamb chop or Kastradina.
This room celebrates the sheep farming heritage of Magallanes with a mural
depicting the historic shearing shed at Estancia San Gregorio. It honors Don Américo
Vicente, Jaime’s maternal grandfather, who worked there for 50 years alongside his wife
Odeth, offering a heartfelt tribute to those who shaped the rural identity of the region.
This space revives the commercial legacy of the Coro family through the old
general store founded by Don Dinko Coro. The mural captures the port of Punta Arenas and
the Steamship Amadeo—the first of its kind in the regional fleet—evoking the golden years
of maritime trade in the Strait.
Inspired by the history of tourism and hospitality in Punta Arenas, this room
features a mural honoring the legendary Hotel Kosmos, for years one of the city’s main
social gathering places. The artwork includes Don Pedro Oyarzo, Inés’s maternal
grandfather and longtime cook at the hotel, alongside his wife Ana—quiet protagonists of an
era defined by the vibrant social life of the city.
Hoy transformado en un espacio más casual, El Árbol conecta la cava con los salones principales para que disfrutes un café, pastelería o un cóctel mientras esperas mesa en los salones o la cava, o simplemente quieres relajarte con un cóctel.
In our wine cellar, located beneath Okusa, we house one of the most unique collections in
Punta Arenas. It preserves its original architecture and features a carefully selected range of
national and international wines that pair perfectly with your meal.
